Stephanie graduated with a Master’s in Social Work from Aurora University in Illinois and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker licensed in Illinois, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania. She began her social work journey working in domestic violence and homeless shelters. During this time, Stephanie was a certified domestic violence and sexual assault professional. She then began working in hospitals providing medical social work, discharge planning, and crisis support. Stephanie enjoyed working in the emergency rooms and spent several years conducting bio-psycho-social evaluations to determine level of care and providing emergent/crisis support to patients. Stephanie was a supervisor in a behavioral health intake facility and has supervised numerous individuals toward licensure. Stephanie also has experience working in insurance as a behavioral health escalations manager.

1:1 Consultation

If we are taught anything about Autism or ADH in our masters programming, it is based on the DSM and medical model rooted in diagnosing and fixing individuals. In addition, the current DSM criteria for Autism is based on middle to upper class white, cis-boys and provides no context on how Autism may present across gender, race, socio-economic status, and other intersectionality. Stephanie provides 1:1 consultation for other mental health professionals regarding work with Autistic and/or ADH individuals, executive functioning, parenting, or providing neuro-affirming care and can address diagnostic clarification, shifting practice framework toward a neuro-affirming approach, and more.

Cost

1:1 Consultations are charged per hour at the following rates.

Level 1: $175

Level 2: $125

Level 3: $75

Clinical Supervision

Clinical supervision is provided for individuals working toward licensure in Illinois. In clinical supervision, Stephanie works to address and educate on:

• Scope of Practice

• Ethical considerations including ethical decision-making, boundaries, self-disclosure, safety

• Providing neuro-affirming therapy

• Decolonizing therapy and cultural awareness

• Case consultation.
